About Springfield MO
Springfield is the 3rd biggest city in the state of Missouri. It also serves as the county seat for the Greene County and is as well one of the principal cities in the Springfield – Branson Metropolis. The very first Europeans American settlers in this region of Missouri were John Campbell and his brother who arrived into the area in the year 1829. Campbell picked the area due to the presence of a natural well, which flowed into a diminutive stream. Later on John Campbell was joined by Thomas Finney, Joseph Miller and Samuel Weaver.
